I still remember, I was 18 years old still living at my parents when I applied for my Macy's Credit Card. I didn't know at that time that I was establishing credit, as a matter of fact I didn't even know what this "credit" thing was all about. I was just happy to be able to "buy now and pay later." But... At 18, I just wish someone told me to may my bills on time. My Macy's credit card was also the begining of my bad credit history.  I always had the money but I was very careless in making my monthtly payments on time every time. Don't do that! My Macy's credit card credit limit was not much but is was more than enough to get me stared on my way to having a credit history, if only I made these payments. If you want establish credit in America, applying for a Macys credit card is a good way to start. but I will say it again... Pay your Macy's and any other department store credit card ON TIME!
