An amendment to the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) requires each of the major nationwide consumer reporting companies to provide you with a free copy of your credit report, at your request, once every 12 months.

Once a year you can get a FREE Copy of your credit report!
As of September 1, 2005, Anyone in america can get a free copy or their credit report regardless of where they live.
Here is how to get your FREE Credit Report:

or call... toll-free 877-322-8228,
or complete the Annual Credit Report Request Form (PDF form) and mail it to:
Annual Credit Report Request Service, P. O. Box 105281, Atlanta, GA 30348-5281.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: make sure you spell the website name correctly to avoid scams. it is WWW.AnnualCreditReport.com
Note: Do not contact the three nationwide consumer reporting companies individually. they will only provide free annual credit reports trough WWW.AnnualCreditReport.com
